Privacy Policy
Last updated October 28, 2026
This policy explains what personal data FEYMAN, Inc. (“FEYMAN”, “we”, “us”) collects through www.feymani.com, why we collect it, and the choices and rights you have. We keep collection to the minimum needed to answer your inquiries and to run the site.
1. Who is responsible for your data
FEYMAN, Inc. is the controller of personal data collected through this site. For any privacy question or request, write to fmi-support@feymani.com.
2. What we collect
Information you send us
When you use the contact form, we receive the details you enter:
- your name and work email address (required);
- your company name, the type of inquiry and your message (optional).
If you email us directly — for example at fmi-support@feymani.com or jobs@feymani.com — we receive your email address, the content of your message and any attachments you choose to send, such as a CV.
Visit statistics
We measure how the site is used with Umami, a privacy-focused analytics service. Umami records aggregate information: the pages viewed, the referring site, your country, browser, operating system and device type, and interactions such as clicking a datasheet request or download link. It sets no cookies, does not store your IP address, and does not build a profile of you or follow you across other websites.
Technical data
Like any web server, our hosting infrastructure automatically records technical data for each request — IP address, date and time, the page requested, and browser information. These logs are used only to keep the site secure and working, and are deleted on a rolling basis.
Information stored on your device
We do not use cookies. If you choose a language, the site remembers it in your browser’s local storage
(feyman_lang) so the next visit opens in that language. This value never leaves your device; you can
clear it at any time from your browser settings.
3. How we use it and on what basis
- To answer your inquiry — sending datasheets, quotes, technical support or other information you ask for. This is necessary to take steps at your request before a possible contract, and is in our legitimate interest in responding to business contacts.
- To follow up on a business relationship — for example continuing a conversation about an integration project you started with us. This is based on our legitimate interest; you can object at any time.
- To understand and improve the site — using the aggregate statistics described above, based on our legitimate interest in running a useful website.
- To keep the site secure and to prevent abuse of the contact form, based on our legitimate interest, and to meet legal obligations where they apply.
We do not sell personal data, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not use it for automated decision-making. We will not add you to a marketing mailing list without your consent.
4. Who we share it with
We share personal data only with those who need it to perform the purposes above:
- FEYMAN teams in our offices (Berlin, Phoenix, Beijing, Mexico City, Colombo and Shenzhen), so the right sales, engineering or field-support team can respond to you;
- service providers that host the website and handle our email, acting on our instructions under confidentiality and data-protection obligations, and Umami Software, Inc., which provides our visit statistics;
- authorities, when the law requires it.
5. International transfers
Because our teams and providers are located in several countries, your data may be processed outside the country where you live, including outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, or on the transfer being necessary to respond to your request.
6. How long we keep it
We keep inquiries and related correspondence for as long as needed to handle them and to manage any business relationship that follows, and then for as long as required by law (for example for tax or accounting records). Job applications are kept only as long as needed for the recruitment process unless you agree to a longer period. Visit statistics are aggregate and do not identify you.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask us to:
- confirm whether we hold data about you and give you a copy of it;
- correct inaccurate data, or complete incomplete data;
- delete your data, or restrict how we use it;
- object to our use of your data based on legitimate interests;
- provide your data in a portable format;
- withdraw any consent you have given, without affecting earlier processing.
To exercise any of these rights, email fmi-support@feymani.com. We will answer within one month and may ask you to confirm your identity first. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Residents of California and other US states with privacy laws have equivalent rights to know, correct and delete their data; we do not sell or share personal information as those laws define it.
8. Security
The site is served only over HTTPS, and access to inquiries is limited to the staff who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data.
9. Children
This site is intended for businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
10. Links to other sites
The site links to services we do not control, such as YouTube, LinkedIn and partner websites. Their own privacy policies apply when you visit them.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our practices or the law change. The date at the top shows the latest revision; significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
