FEYMAN’s tilt-compensation stack now ships with GNSS chipsets from three top-tier vendors — u-blox, Hemisphere and Septentrio — so surveying OEMs can pick the GNSS receiver they prefer without rewriting firmware.

How it works

FEYMAN’s IM-series modules take GNSS data from the host receiver on a dedicated port. The IM19 and IM26, for example, expose UART1, UART2 (GNSS), UART3 and 1PPS, and the IM26 adds CAN.

Our approach is hardware-agnostic: it is not tied to one receiver brand. Equipment makers can use FEYMAN tilt sensing while choosing from supported receiver options.

Why it matters for OEMs

Keeping tilt compensation independent of the GNSS receiver gives OEMs more room to plan:

  • Second-sourcing: a second receiver vendor reduces exposure to one supplier’s lead times, pricing or end-of-life notices.
  • One integration across product lines: an entry-level rover and a flagship can use different supported receivers and share the same FEYMAN tilt integration.
  • Time to market: moving to another supported receiver doesn’t mean starting the tilt work over, so engineering time goes to the product itself.
